I love how they only test the winners. Test them all, I'd be surprised if 20% even passed.

Get over it, drugs enhance sports and that's a good thing. Women wear make-up, graduate students take Adderall, and white people use alcohol to dance. It's all performance enhancing.

They do test them all.

A many years ago an entire French team (Festina) was banned after EPO was found in the team car. Ever since then they test everyone randomly and frequently, and the top riders daily, sometimes more than once a day.

I mean every single day the entire field.

Quote:
After each stage, four riders are tested: the overall leader, the stage winner, and two riders at random. In addition, every rider is tested before the first day's stage, normally a short time-trial.

Agreed. And since the USADA is going back and in effect retesting Armstrong, they should test the old samples from every Tour winner, including Indurain, Ullrich, LeMond, Riis (who has admitted to doping but still holds his title), Hinault, Andy Schleck and Carlos Sastre. They'd be rearranging the results for years.

But my point is that testing is pointless. We watch the TdF to see humans achieve unimaginable feats.
