I go with the flow in town and keep to the left lanes, so 75-80 as Kevin said is pretty normal in PHX when traffic is moving. I'll vary speed for conditions on long road trips, I had cruise set to 96 for a stretch heading to LA. I always do the speed limit in or near smaller towns and I do max 9 over at night even in the city. I always obey posted speed limits on surface streets at all times.

I55 in Chicago the speed limit is 55. You won’t see a car in the left lane going under 75.

Like others say, +10 mph on the super-slab (maybes a hair over with the Escort on), but near schools, their buses and areas with many pedestrians, along with construction zones, speed limit strictly.

Depends if I have Waze up and my V1 in the car. With those running and a little traffic ahead to take the first signs of instant-on I'm about 20 over.

If I have neither then I'm a 5-10 mph guy.

I wonder how much "faster" a part of the country Pennsylvania would be if the DOT didn't factor the Amish buggies into the overall traffic speeds?

Off the highway, usually ~10mph above depending on the road. On the highway I shoot for 90-100 mph unless it's a heavily patrolled stretch of road, which I guess would put me at 20-30 over
