I have not forgotten you my friend! But yes, a one man run shop takes time, but his quality stays the same.

Here are some pics he sent me of the 2x2 version.

He has my original bumper as well, so I asked if he can make changes to the 1 piece lip for the OE CSL, to make it fit the normal M3 bumpers with double sided tape; he said he will take a look. He did not give me a time frame tho

A new thread needs to be made to gauge interest for the hartge lip. Perhaps even a deposit could be put down so people arent flaking out.

Haha since he has your original bumper he should do splitters for that too. I could use a new set as mine has seen better days after about 10 years of rock abuse.

Small update on why he uses a clear primer

JC updated me on the primer, he uses a clear primer, same as ones that come colored as in grey, but clear. No difference except for color. Reason, with the colored primered versions, you feel a "step" from that surface to the CF clear coated surface. I feel this on my OE unit as well. You will not feel this step on the version JC is sending you. So your painter only has to has to follow where the 4x4 CF meets the 2x2/1x1 CF. This is a minute difference, but theses small details is what he thinks are important for a cleaner look.

Thanks

Derek
