Default Compression Test Results.

I went down and bought a tester, just hit 145k today and was curious about my engine health.

Test 1 - 5 cranks then read gauge per instructions.

1: 165
2: 163
3: 170
4: 162
5: 170
6: 170

Test 2 - Anthony suggested cranking until gauge peaked

1: 188
2: 190
3: 188
4: 190
5: 191
6: 190

I'd say not bad for a 145k original engine

DIY coming later tonight

EDIT: Test was done at 2500ft Elevation.

Thanks for the help Anferney

My cats are almost gone though. I had a check engine light for the catalyst the other day. I was running 87 at the time (got 400 miles to the tank on that 87) and it popped on. Cleared it, put 91 in and no light.

Damn I barley get 300 miles to the tank, usually between 275-300. Thena agin i don't drive highway all that often if I did reguraly I'm pretty sure I'd get around 300.

I get 320 driving like an ass
I can get upwards of 430ish if I cruise at 75mph on the freeway for 6 hours.
