The intake system does look permanent. The last pic showing the PS reservoir moved up towards the strut tower and you can see a corrugated hose going from the brake duct hole which goes under the SC to feed the filter air.
Either way, I'm excited to see another option for us and curious to see how well this will go

A friend of mine who worked for BMW as an engineer mentioned to me that having the air filter on the back of the supercharger was actually a better location than the bumper. He said with the air filter in the bumper you lose power because of the elbow and that at high speeds a vacuum will develop and rob you of power. You don't see the vacuum effect on a dyno because the airflow isn't fast enough over the front end of the car. He also said that with the air filter being on the supercharger you get a bit more heat, however as long as you have a good cooling system like and intercooler or an aftercooler it shouldn't be an issue.

JAWS is definitely donig some great things. They even have verified and posted 60-130 times on 6Speedonline to back up their claims
