Default Wowzers - Watch out for SPD

So is the cop the thug or the civil public servant? Not really sure.

not sure I really see the brutality here... but in this case being a 3rd party and seeing things "after the fact" it appears that both gentlemen are antagonizing each other.

First rule: respect law enforcement and obey the law.
follow this rule and you have problems... gauranteed!

the black dude first appears to be getting in the face of the officer. thats a mistake. let law enforcement do their job. then to continue to state, "i didn't do nothing" with your hands in the air and saying this over and over while still approaching the officer is asking for it. do i feel like the officer handled the situation professionally? perhaps there was room for improvement. I would have hand cuffed that dude way sooner if he was in the way.

Phil, where did you find this vid? Where you there or something?

Google news under Seattle. It was in the Seattle Times report on it. I agree the video probably doesn't tell the whole story but the cop still was acting like a thug escalating the situation instead of being calm and professional.
