Did my mirror replacement on the drivers side. There is a really good DIY here:
http://m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=264809

The original mirror uses an adhesive that was a real pain to get off. I had to pull so hard I broke the mirror...

This is a good shot of the "rust".

I finally got around to ordering some pictures from the professional photographer that was at the VIR event in August. They turned out to be pretty cool. The S4 is a buddy of mine.

You can see the rain in these two-

These two are my favorites-

Thanks! The track is a must for all owners. I'm not positive about the fluid question. You could bleed the system with just one, but I'd get two if you plan on flushing the whole system. My Bentley manual doesn't even list a capacity. I'd get two to be on the safe side.

Great journal...it's reassuring to know that a mostly stock M3 can survive more than a couple track days. What kind of jack and jack stands do you have?

My jack and jack stands are all from harbor freight. Cheap, but they work for now.

As far as tracking the car, I think the stock M3 is more robust than it's reputation seems to be. For the record, my car is still on the original stock springs, shocks, clutch, subframe and rear rotors.

Default calipers

I'm going to use the POR-15 caliper kit for paint.

After the calipers are clean, I'll likely rebuild them and replace the seals and bushings.

Car had it's first tech inspection for my upcoming driving event. Everything was fine, although my brake pads have about 40% life left. Brake fluid was flush and filled with ATE superblue.
Where did you get the extra set on brake calipers and what was the cost?

I picked up the extra calipers from a forum member. I can't recall the price, but it wasn't too much. Maybe 150-200?? Shipping is a pain since they are heavy though.
