Each week you must choose, the top eight finishers in order from 1 to 8.

You recieve points in the same format as Formula 1.

If you get 1st place correct you recieve 10 points, 8 points for 2nd, 6 points for 3rd, 5 points for 4th, 4 points for 5th, 3 points for 6th, 2 points for 7th and 1 points for 8th.

Eg. If you select David Coulthard to win, and he finishes 1st, you get 10 points, however, if David does not win, you get 0 points because you were wrong about his position. The maximum points you can collect in a GP is 39 points (A Grandslam!!).

Each week the person who scores the most points will create a "saying" that relates to Formula 1 (i.e. "Schumy is back!!!") and all those that participated that week, must put that saying into their signature.

"The Dr. Evil Rule"...when adding the winners "saying" to your signature it cannot be posted in white color font and cannot be smaller than the standard font size on the forum.

Your choices must be submitted prior to the parade lap of each race.

Negative sayings will not be considered, let try and keep this fun and positive(i.e. no "Juan Pablo sucks").

Do not cheat by changing drivers once GP has started. Therefore, NO EDITING POSTS just before or during a race. Drivers MUST finish in your selected position for you to score points allocated to that position. Select your drivers after qualifying. If you want to change your picks post a new response to the the thread and let me know, do not edit your posts (edited posts will not be counted).

Each player will have their lowest weekly total score dropped when figuring the end of the year champion. If a player has more than one score as their lowest, only one of them will be dropped.

Players cannot select one driver for more than one finishing position (i.e. you cannot have 1. MS, 2. MS, 3. MS, 4. MS, 5. MS etc.).

Play Fair and have fun.

Any entries that are submitted after that time are not vaild for that week.

At the end of the season, I will award a prize to the overall winner. The prize has yet to be determined, but if anyone wants to pitch in a couple of bucks I will add that to my own $20 to purchase an even better F1 related prize for our champion. Any questions let me know.

You forgot to mention font size or color again

If we can't say anything negative can we things like " Dr. Evil rules and all that stand in his way will be crushed" ?

Hey nick, I had an idea... What if some one is away from a PC for a week or two? I know hard to imagine but lets say a cruise with no internet or a deserted island, or even to trashed to function from Friday night... would it be ok it say if you don't put your picks in on time then your picks from the previous race will be your picks for the current race?

HAppy now, the rules have been changed, and the "saying" has to be F1 related.

That is why I have added in the lowest score will be dropped rule. So if you are indisposed and cannot get to a comp to make your pics then you can drop that "0" week.
