My STi project is nearing an end, 460 whp

Just wanted to share with my M3 friends what I have been up to lately

Dan Harman of Harman Motive and I have been working on this project for the last two months. It is a .63 housing GT30R Perrin Rotated kit with a rotated Legacy intake manifold and lots of other fun stuff. Power is below. For lots of pics, head over to IWSTI. The numbers are below and they are off of a 4 wheel dynojet. There are three maps, CA 91 octane @ 20 psi, track map @ 24 psi, and race gas map @ 28 psi. For reference, my car made 275 whp at stage 2 with a protune off the same dyno.

BTW, here are some before and after of the engine bay. Note that the welds on the intake pipe haven't been ground and polished yet, that's happening today

not bad... Tuned STis are serious performers.... But for me, I would skip that STi phase and just get a 996 T... Once you have 650hp out of the porsche, you are untouchable.

True, but Porsche pricing is still a bit above my league. Plus, I love having two cars.

congrats nick....I'll be driving mine down to socal soon we will have to get together.....but I'll be nipping at your heels we aren't settling for anything less than 550-600 whp so we are going through alot of diffirent turbos....might have to try a variable geometry turbo next

I blew out the stock vf39 with the new head ahhahaha
