I don't have any photos to show but I have OEM CSLs w/ 235/35 & 265/30 T1Rs. I'm lowered on H&R coil springs with RE 15mm up front and 12mm in the back with no rubbing.

the VB3 wheel comes in this size for the m3:
19x8.5" / +40mm / front
19x9.5" / +22mm / rear

oem csl wheels are:
19x8.5" / +44mm / front
19x9.5" / +27mm / rear


so.. if i can run 10mm on my oem csl safely, you should be able to run these spacers to be equal to my CSL wheels. please dont quote me as i never tried running spacers on VB3 wheels before. this is purely just hypothetical data.


suggested spacers for VB3 on M3:
14mm fronts (40mm ronts stick out 4mm less then oem csl fronts)
15mm rears (22mm rears stick out 5mm less then oem csl rears)

yes.. u can get away with the 12mm rear spacer because your rear tires are 10mm smaller (5mm more space per each side of the tire). your running 265mm when most of us are running 275's

You're right, the rears are cutting it pretty close. And with 275s out back I'd probably touch under serious dips .

You rock man, thanks for taking the time. I got an email from Modbargins and they said that I don't need spacers because the wheels are designed for the m. HMmmmmm go figgure. I just want them to be flush with the fenders. There's nothing worse that wheels that don't sit right.

Not to thread jack but since thing is about wheel spacers.

I just installed Rogue 12mm spacer all around with my RS-GT's.
Tire sizes are 245 front and 275 rears(PS2's).

I had to remove the rear hubcentric rings so they will fit. No issues such as vibration or signs of being off balance. Should I be concerned?

if you have no vibrations then your cool. the hubcentric rim helps centers your wheels. but if you hit a bad pot hole it may mis-center your wheel

no vibrations.. wonder why BBS only chamferred the front wheel but not the rear? also.. is it just me or does the are actually handle different with the spacers? Doesn't feel as planted. Sure looks aggressive though!

I've had 10mm front and rear spacers for a while now with stock suspension and wheels on my '05 ZCP. It drives fine, with the exception that the fronts contact the fender under very hard braking. I can hear/feel it and can see the rubber on the inside of the fender from the few times I've had to brake that hard. I'm about to remove the fronts to avoid this problem.

I don't know what options I have other than to lose the spacers. I'll keep the rears for now and hope that it doesn't affect the handling. When I finally get around to tracking the car (one of these days), I'll remove the rears as well... at least for the track days.

If I have any other options (that will let me keep the spacers all around), I'd love to hear about it...

BTW, the sig pic is pre-spacers.
