Default How many times have you taken Defensive Driving?

I am averaging close to once a year. I'm currently in the process of meeting my annual quota via the "O sooooo lame" blockbuster videos. Been watching the same video for the past 4 years.

Just curious as to how many times everyone has done D-Driving and what methods have you used to go about it?

For me, I have done:
1) Comedy course (like nails on a chalk board... worst option)
2) Cafetaria style (old woman taught it, and I was the youngest one there by about 55 years.)
3) Internet based (would be perfect, except that they time you and everytime you leave the computer, it stops until you refresh it.... so literally you have to sit there for the required 6 hours.... stupid.)
4) Videos. (The best, IMO. You can do other things while you are watching, and the questions that you have to answer after every hour are very easy. Much less painful then the above three.)

For those who are wondering how many times I have acctually taken it... I think this is either my 5th or 6th time. Ironically, bc I have taken it so many times, my insurance rate is very low, while being 23 and driving an M3 ( :nixweiss: beats me.)

Soooooo....discuss.

What kind of defense driving class can you take from a video.

Hey man

Well... you watch the course and every hour you take an online test.

6 hours + 6 tests = Course complete

OT helps numb the pain

I still dont get it. To me "defenseive driving" is something that needs to be taught while in a car, not on a computer. That sounds to me more like driving school/drivers education to get rid of tickets.

It is BS, have done it before. It is much like the videos they show in drivers ed "this is what your driving style can cause" with mutilated cars, bodies, etc.
