GM should concentrate on making something other than monstrous SUVs and crossovers if they want to survive.

Still they should kill the H2 instead...

Or kill em all...

Wow, they killed their pioneer vehicle. Now all they have are suped up chevy suburbans with lots of plastic toys. If they get rid of the H1, they need to just drop Hummer all together ... allthough there are a lot of soccer moms out there.

With decisions like this, no wonder GM is doing so well.

Scott said the same thing. I think he was as shocked to say it as I was to hear it, but apparnetly it is very good off-road. I think it would be too underpowered to drive up in the mountains, but I've backed off my anti H3 rhetoric after Scott's report.

Actually it was not too bad, they must have some nice gearing in it. I mean it will never win any speed battles, but it comfortably cruised at 80+ MPH and did pretty well when passing. Getting it up and off of the line is pretty slow the 0 - 60 is about 11 seconds. The interior was nicely appointed consdiering that it is a mid-$30K vehicle when fully loaded. The two tone leather was nice, the controls were intuitive, but there was some cheap plastics on the dash. My biggest complaint was the window switches were hard to reach and the parking brake pedal rubbed against my leg when driving. Also the biggest negative is the damn thing is hard to see out of. The low roof line combined with large head rests for both front and second rows, creates a number of large blind spots. Despite its faults, I am still considering one as a second vehicle.

PS< based on what Scott said about its off-road capabilites is a nice selling point as well.

i guess its best to drive one than to knock it. i doubt if they'd sell more than the h2's. i guess for 30k, what can ya expect from a rugged/semi luxury off-roader:nixweiss:
