Default '97 M3 Evo - Digital Clock display disappeared

The digital clock on my '97 M3 Evolution has disappeared but th trip computer is working fine. Do they use separate fuses, anyway?

Anyone with any suggestions as to what the solution might be?

Also, think the car may be out of refrigerant for the air-con system any way of checking other than getting hot air rather than cool when air-con on?

Thanks

MMc

hey man.. welcome.. not sure about the ac.. but for the clock on the OBC.. if u slide the OBC out.. u can change the bulb behind it. thats all it is.. the bulb has to be picked up at the stealership though..

to pull the obc out.. feel in the sunglasses holder at the top of that and there should be a hole.. put a finger in the hole (i know u can do that ) and push the obc out from behind it.. then u can just unscrew the bulb and put the new one in, push the obc in and ur finished..

Thanks for your help here. As you said it was just one of the 4 bulbs that sit in behind the OBC, so easily solved problem.

Nice picture of your car, looks good. Mines an Estoril Blue coupe with Silver leather interior.

Thanks again

the clock on my car was out when i bought it. took it to the dealer and it cost less than $50 to fix it. around $30, not sure exact cost cause i got some other stuff fixed at the same time. how much do the bulbs cost? i know i got ripped off.
