Default Anyone used the "Pops-A-Dent" thing from TV for paintless dent repair?

To open the passenger door in my car, you have to pull substantially harder on the handle than you do on the driver door. Well today my passenger door wouldn't open at all from the inside or out, so I figured if I leaned on the door a little while pulling the handle it would open - and it did. I hardly put any pressure on the door at all but it still made a slight indentation, about the size of an orange. It's not very deep and you can't really see it until you stare.

Has anyone used the little "pops-a-dent" thing we've all seen on TV? It says it is paint and clearcoat safe, and they're about $20 shipped on ebay. If it works I'll get one, but if not I'll take it to a paintless dent repair place. I'm just worried the thing only works on certain dents on certain body panels at certain angles. Anyone in the Northern VA area want to let me try theirs?

Default its like ding king

If its like the "Ding King" I hear mix results on it.

Just order direct. Avoid Ebay, that way if it doesnt work you can get 100% refund!

There are a lot of local body shops that offer paintless dent repair, you should try them first.

I just got 3 door dings removed through my detail guy who has a dent guy come out if you need it... He removed 3 total door dings, 2 on rear right side panel and 1 on door itself... it looks beautiful and just as smooth as the rest of the car... paid $125 for it, i think it's worth it since it was a professional, but i was tempted to look into those diy dent removers... good luck with your car

I've used Ding King before, about three years ago, and it doesn't work... period. In fact, one guy on another forum used it and the thing took off a huge patch of clear coat/paint.
