Default TWS Motorsports Club on Nov 18-19

Hey all,

In case anyone wants to squeeze in some last minute track time before the holiday season really gets rolling, there's a 2-day event at TWS on November 18th and 19th (Sat & Sun). Price is supposed to be $250 for both days or $150 for one day.

Pretty much the typical setup; four run groups broken down by experience, 5 sessions a day per group. Instructors provided for first time / low time drivers, and there should be loaner helmets available if you don't have your own.

Contact Rusty Rush (TWS' track manager) at (979) 690-2500 or grab a form online here: http://texasworldspeedway.com/mscmail.htm

Maybe I'll even have a car to drive that weekend....

Damn I love that sig quote. That's a movie I'm going to have to get on DVD for sure.

By the way, Dave, the NASA race went great. Hit a 47 at MSRH, and could go faster if I had a pair. I'll try to get some video up.

It'll be good seeing you guys again in a more relaxed setting. Seems like I'm always running from place to place on race weekends.

Here's a link to my fast lap from MSRH: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...83103220437242

Feel free to critique away. It's far from perfect, but at least it's in the same zipcode as some of the times I've seen for T2 M3's.

Just for fun, here's some actually exciting video from my wife's camaro. Believe it or not, there was no contact in either incident.

A car dumped oil all over the braking zone after gut check and a few people get caught out. You can see me go by near the end.

Very nice, Martin. Just a couple of small suggestions:

-enter the Keyhole (T11) wider & make it a late apex corner with a heavy car like yours....much like T10 (carousel) at TWS in reverse

-after T12, you are close to both parts of the separated apex curb of T13; displace the first one but still get the second one, and you will be MUCH straighter going over the launch, which means less instability, less steering, and more acceleration

The 18th and 19th are the correct dates. TWS isn't the fastest on updating their site, but I've confirmed with rusty that those are the correct dates.
