There is no way of being sure no matter what any one tells u.
Every one will always say their set up is the best.
Dont even bother requesting dyno graphs etc ... since each dyno gives very different results than the other.

So what to do ???

My opinion is :

a)Choose the muffler u think sounds and looks better.
There is little to none hp gain from the muffler.

b)If u have a us spec M3 get rid of the cats (and as a result of the maniflod) and let the motor "breathe" like the euro spec. Susbsequently the mod I state above should result in about 10hp (343 is the nominal power of the euro spec). My opinion is to go with Supersprint ... but that is just my opinion , evosport has nice maniflods I hear and many others as well.

c)If u do not want excesive noise keep the OEM x-pipe (mid section)

d)S/W ... I would suggest a custom software programmed for your car on the dyno ... but if u cannot afford one then my opinion is to go with any of the well known companies (Superchips, Delage ,Dinan etc...). In any case do not expect MIRACLES ... the cyrve will be more "full" , the "curliness" will go away and maybe u will see 5-10 hp on the peak point.

Before u do anything have your car dynoed in an independant dyno so as to have a point of refference .. without that there is no way to verify the posiible hp gains
