Default Ok, so maybe I am little slow (Launch Control)...

Ok, so I love my car to death (2004 E46 M3, let's just call her Sarah)...and I have owned my car for almost 3 years now...

and TODAY was the first time I used Launch Control!

I feel like I have been missing something the past 3 years...am I slow or does everyone know about launch control? Nobody ever told me about it...including my dealer. I was never showed this feature of the car and now I feel like there are butterfly's in my stomach, I guess I should have read the ENTIRE owner's manual.

It doesn't hurt anything and you can do it as much as you want correct?

Thanks
Beeks (Brian)

Now go try burnout mode.....but really be ready to shift.

It will put some strain on your clutch and drivetrain if you do it a lot, however, BMW lowered the RPMs on the launch control for the US so it isn't that bad.

Thanks guys...I really want to try burnout mode but the roads are wet and it is going to rain tonight again. I don't want to be stupid and skid off the road. Tomorrow though...it's on!!

Did you know about LC when you bought your car?

BTW-- I love the response to the SMG Haterz Club.

LOL...I knew about LC months before I got my car.

Don't try it in a wet road...just wait for it to dry and enjoy it.

^^^

Same here, I was reading up on the different functions that SMG has to offer and its awesome to run LC on the car!

Remember to put DSC back on after haha or be prepared to fish tail when that adrenaline that you got from LC carries over into a corner
