Default What's the difference between the Bosch and Valeo alternator pulleys?

I just had my Valeo alternator replaced with a Bosch remanufactured alternator and my mechanic swapped out my Evosport pulley from the Valeo onto the Bosch. The pulley fits perfect and everything lines up perfectly, but I have heard that Bosch and Valeo take different pulleys. What is the difference between the two? I am thinking that I may have gotten a Valeo unit remanufactured by Bosch since the pulley fits perfectly. Any thoughts>

I just called Evosport (who makes the pulleys) and they told me that there is no difference between the Bosch and Valeo pulleys for the E46 and that they only sell one type of alternator pulley.
