a random note on my car from a random guy

So, as I was walking towards my car after class yesterday, I saw a yellow post-it note stuck to my door handle. It didn’t appear to be a parking ticket, so my second thought was “oh sh!t… someone hit my car”.

Thankfully, I was wrong.

Here’s exactly what was written on the note:

“Hey --- I don’t know why I’m leaving you this note but I saw you a couple of days ago and today I saw your car parked in the arena lot. Maybe u saw me too… here is a hint I have same color and model as ur car but mine is conv. and not M3. Hope I can hear from you (insert email address here)”

Due to the poor grammar and handwriting, I figured it was just from some kid who liked my car. Therefore, I really didn’t think much of it.

Well, today I got an email from him (same email address he gave me). The name on the email was "Noone Noone". He said his name is Sam and apparently "I caught his eye". Well, “Sam” asked me several questions including “how do you like being a sophomore family consumer science major?”

Umm… WTF? How did he know this? Also, how did he get my email address? Keep in mind that there are almost 25,000 students at my school….

THEN… I get on Myspace to find that I have a friend request from a guy named Sam. I didn’t bother adding him, and his profile was set to private. Well, I looked at his default picture on Myspace, and I thought he looked pretty old…….. In fact, he’s 33 YEARS OLD. Okay, I know that isn’t very old, but that’s 13 years older than me.

I haven’t really seen a 33 year old man lurking by me, but apparently he sees me all the time. He knows how old I am, my major, what car I drive, and where I park.

So, what do you guys think I should do? This kind of creeps me out…
