Greetings all. I actually had the swap done last week, a week after I had my technine software installed. After the software, the car was incredibly torquey to the point that it was actually a little uncomfortable. The RPMS climbed twice as quick it seemed and it was breathing really well. The next week I had the m50 installed and now the car actually sounds & feels much more refined in terms of breathing, accel. and torque. I'm very happy to have both these upgrades and would recommend It. I'm new to the community and to the M3 world altogether but I can honestly say that I enjoy my car much more now as it finally feels as if it were engineered to function as it does now instead of how I bought it (Sans software & M50). So I say onwards and upwards gents.

It's called Technine. You can check out their site. Tenchnine tuning. Very impressed with their product.

you're welcome Buzz, and others. I love the feel of my free flowing M50 manifold too!

Glad you're happy with it. I'm doing an install on a guys car in South Carolina tomorrow...funny coincidence I just happen to be passing through there when the guy orders a kit.

Eric, you sure get around with your kits that is. Next time you are in NJ, let me know. I will surely meet for lunch or try and get out on a nearby course.

you don't happen to be coming through NC as well? if you ever do, i'd love for someone experienced with the kit to install mine. the install is the only reason i haven't ordered one yet. i think i could do it, but the time it would take seems pretty long for the first timer.

sorry but I don't know my sched very far in advance and NC isn't a popular stop for us.

I got Marks kit in SC installed today...took 3.5 hrs with a dinner break. He has a SUPER clean Dakar 2 door. wow what a beautiful car.
