Default cold start spueel = dealer fixed

The problem that i was having when the car started cold was because of the pulleys. Was under CPO and only paid 50 deductible. The bad part though was they ****in scratched my car and but 10 miles on it. Is 10 miles normal or a a little over?
Thanks

I actually don' think this is a "problem" - mine did it for a period of time - then just stopped. If the squeel continued for more than a minute or so after starting I might be concerned - but what's happening is the alternator is working hard to replenish the power in the battery that was used to start the engine.. and there is probably a tiny bit of slipping of the alternator pully/belt causing the noise.

To me - it's a "they all do that" and it's harmless sort of thing.

yea that's what i though and let it go for like a year. But after reading on the forum people having the same problem fixed, it convinced me to fix it too. Should i just let it go? The things that concerns me is if this will cause a major problem in the future as time goes by. Theres another issue that wasnt there but started after the dealer replaced the alternator drive belt tensioner= when i turn the car on for ignition, the car goes to life then for a split split 1/000th of a second, it feels like it died and then finally turn on. It's real hard to explain, its like the car turns on the belt is going and suddenly the belt gets stuck and in an instant it gets loose. You can feel it when you turn the key. What might be the cause of this?
Thanks
