Default Door lock actuator?

My passenger side door lock decided to stop working with my keyless/alarm system. Wont lock or unlock with the button on the console. Still works manually with the key. Any common failures/problems that I don't know about?

My door won't open electronically or by inserting the key... Does that mean there are other problems besides the actuator? or can having a bad actuator alone make it so that you can't unlock the door by inserting the key?

If the actuator is bad, you should still be able to open the door manually with the key. Does it unlock/lock with the center lock button inside the car?
