A 4 Door manual would have been pretty cool, then again a Supra TT would have been fun too but not as practical.

There is actually a HUGE M3 community here here in Dublin/Columbus OH. Purple99M3, and several others on Bimmerforums are in Dublin/Columbus too.

E36 and E46 M3's are not rare here at all, which is too bad. Still a fun car none-the-less.

I would've ...

- Waited until 2003 for the DVD Nav.
- Grey Steel.
- 18" wheels, later I would sell these and gotten aftermarket 19s.

That's all.

Wait, be patient, your M3 will find you.

Get the color you want. CMT said about the astoril being almost bright purple in the bright sun and I think that's one of the things I love most about my car is the almost Irredecence of the astoril blue. Plus, it's such an odd color. There are so many black or white or red cars out there and the M3 just screams...
NOTICE ME!!!!!!

So, back to my point...take your time and you'll be happier than if you just go out and get the first one that comes along.

Good luck!

Just got a 95 Avus Blue M3 from Atlanta w/ only 45k miles. Was wondering if anyone knew of some quality places to take M3s for service? I live about 20 miles south of Boston but willing to drive

My suggestion would be "it's easy to learn to live without one... especially when you've got both hands on the steering wheel!".

Armrests... aren't they for old ladies? Mine is without one but my friend has one in his 325is and I don't really like it... it serves little purpose and gets in the way more often than not.

And they're too expensive IMO.

$0.02

thanks for the info. you've got a beautiful car there. how well does it handle itself in these brutal boston winters and what kind of snow tires(if any) do you have?
