There is a grommet behind the rear bumper, that allows you to fish the wire through. You will have to somehow reinforce that wire in order to keep the trunk air tight.

It seems like a DIY. Just some organizing really. No major electronic work

I got the x-pipe with EVC and it is awesome. The car sounds like a racecar with the valve open and, when closed, is a little bit louder than just the diablo. Also, the car pulls significantly harder at high rpm with it open, and the turn down looks amazing under the car.

trunks arent air tight, in fact they have vents to allow air to escape when you close it.

My current exhaust setup includes all Supersprint stuffs,

a) Stepped Headers
b) Race cats (200 cells)
c) X-pipe (non-resonated)
d) Race Muffler

Thinking about replacing Supersprint's X-pipe with Rogue Engineering's X-pipe *with* EVC kit, after hearing local E60 M5,

http://idahospeed.com/bmw2007m5.htm

, with similar setup, but using Quicktime Performance's QTEC Electric Cutout, the sound was WICKED, sounds like my GSXR-600 !!!

Only question i have is, will Rogue's X-pipe (which i believe is resonated), create/add any more new rasp to my current setup?

Or, will it cut down on the rasp?

Or keep the rasp about the same as my current setup?

I know i have rasp with my current setup, and i don't expect Rogue's x-pipe to eliminate my rasp (maybe a tiny bit because of Rogue's section 2 do have a small resonator), *but* i wonder what the overall sound will be, with Rogue's X-pipe, and EVC fully open ???

Will it change my exhaust tone from what it is today but adding it more throatier sound?

Or, just become unbearably too loud???

You are right.

So, Rogue's X-pipe being *not* resonated, i should expect to keep my current rasp level about the same.

But i wonder what the overall sound will be with EVC fully open, in my current setup ??? Hmm...

it will help with the rasp a little because it is an x pipe. the reason it was so raspy was because the dual single pipes all the way through.

Just run the car without the rear muffler and that's the sound you'll get with the EVC open.

I have a full RE setup...Rasp, X, and El Diablo...I was planning on making some videos this weekend but the weather sucked. Don't see why I won't have them next weekend.
