Michelin Pilot Sport tires
I purchased Bridgestone Potenza S3....all I can say is AWESOME.....blows my Michelins away. They are pricey though!!!

Any Bridgestone store will be able to order them (they usually dont carry in stock). Usually takes at the most a week to get them in. If you cant find them let me know......

Michelin Pilot Sport tires
I just bought a 1997 M3 sedan and it needs new tires. From what I have been reading these are the preferred tires to get. Only draw back is the price. Can someone tell me where the cheapest place is to get these tires?

Michelin Pilot Sport tires
I highly recommend Kuhmo Ecsta 712's from Discount or Tire Rack. Less than $110 apiece, a really excellent tire. Not as high an ulimate dry grip as a $275 Pilot, but excellent street characteristics. Very quiet, far better wear, excellent wet traction. High quality construction, dual cap layer, six cross-tread wear indicators for rotation, and a sidewall scuff guard that works.
Chief driving instructor at the last BMWCCA school I did at Firebird in AZ took my car out for a few laps and was very impressed with the tires - more so when I told him how much they cost! About $550 for all for four mounted and balanced at Discount. |
