Default For My Westchester Crew

Just wanted to give you guys an important heads up that the State and County police are cracking down hard because of that fatal accident on the Bronx River that you may or may not have heard about. It happened on the north bound side just before the Yonkers Ave over pass.

I personally saw them out there including the B&W Charger that County uses a few days ago on the Bronx River in the area of Yonkers and Mt Vernon where the CC pkwy crosses overhead. They were pulling people left and right. Then this morning I saw a picture in the paper that had 4 County police officers and 4 State Troopers posing for a pic. The article talked about how they are having a Zero Tolerance in effect from now until the New Year.

They state there's no "magic number" they're looking for and that if you're going over the limit, tickets will be issued. In one day from 9am - 3pm an approximate total of 150 tickets were issued between State and County. One person was pulled for doing 74mph. I know on paper 74 reads like a lot but it isn't really. Hell, old people in their Camry's do at least that, lol.

So if you're passing through the area of the Sprain Brook and Bronx River, be careful! The immediate guys I thought of were Dan, George, Pete, Franky, Chris maybe (not sure if you travel that area Chris). George I don't know if you head to Astoria that way, I know I do. Give AlpineM a heads up too (forgot his name ) I ran into him in that area as well. You know ours cars are a dead target for them. CC hides on the Oak St on ramp and the guy did a double take when I entered the pkwy. So be cautious around there .

Saw them yesterday going nuts. Too bad my 91' subby doesn't go over 55. I saw 5 troopers each with a stopped car and about 4 around the next turn and one with a radar, it was a total of 9 or 10 troopers. All between Greenburgh and Jackson Ave.

Yup i was on the bx river last weekend at 1am and i didnt notice that lil radar thing they have posted a few miles down from white plains... was going 75 lol. Just thought to myself o **** i know they are all over here... luckily no ticket but its just gay how they do **** like that. On another note that highway just promotes accidents u cannot pass and people either drive too fast or wayyyyyyyyy to slow on it.

You mean going from Harstdale into Scarsdale? The pkwy service garage thingy just before the Scarsdale exit is the perfect place for them to hide. You won't see them until it's way too late. But most of the accidents happen further south from the Cross County Pkwy exits down into the Bronx. Twice this year alone I've seen two different cars flipped upside down on it's roof and numerous other accidents. And the bronx river isn't really a bad pkwy :clueless.

No prob even when cruising you know our cars stand out. They'll probably automatically assume we're up to no good.

I meant its a bad pkwy cause you cant pass when you get further down... and with all the twists n turns people drive way to slow or try n be superman and go like 80 through it.
