Decided to take my car down to Logic Motorsports in Anaheim to get some dyno runs, and other stuff. Love this dyno, very clean, great setup over at Logic, and the owner Max is a hell of a guy, former M3 owner as well. I highly recomend this dyno for all interested in getting some #'s, excellent facility and service.
![]() It was a Mustang dyno, which reads a bit lower than a Dyno Jet, for reference a stock M3 made 250WHP on this same dyno. We played with the water/meth injection a bit to see how it would influence the results, initial on set points and full set points, etc. and found starting it at around 4.5psi and full at 8 psi made a bit better #'s. I was running approx 94 octane fuel, 3 gallons of 100 and 8 gallons of 91. VFE stage 2 beta SC. approx 8 psi, SS headers, euro cats, Dinan Exhaust, Spal 16" electric fan, Snow Performance W/M injection, Plasma Coil Packs, Dinan 3.91 gears. My best uncorrected results were: 442 WHP and 355WTQ After several pulls we decided to do a 1/4 mile sprint on the dyno as well. These are estimates, but fairly accurate, on a real track at a sea level, like Sacramento or Atco back east, I think we might do a bit better. Still I'm happy with the results.3rd run was the best ET: 60' 1.75 1/8th 7.9 @ 93 MPH 1/4 mile 12.08 @ 118 MPH Best trap was: 120 MPH Then we did a 60-130 pull and managed a 10 second run. For reference a Gallardo does it in 12.x seconds or so and an F430 does it in 9.5, C6 Z06 9.6, stock 997TT about 9 as well. I think we can do a bit better, as he touched the rev limiter on one shift, so I wish we would have done another run!! Another thing that slows me down a bit in this test is with the 3.91 gears, I redline in 4th gear at approx 128 MPH, so there's 2 shifts. Mind you this is not as accurate as a Vbox run, which I plan on doing soon as well. AFR was around 12.8 at redline, a little lean for my tastes, but safer with W/M injection as the IAT's were around 72 -77 degrees during the pulls, air to water intercooling FTW! There is still more tuning to be done, so there should be a bit more in it.

how much to dyno? congrats drew so 460-470 on other dynos?

Sounds about right, usually they vary from 10-15% compared to dyno jets. Regardless, side by side comparo's are my favorite tests.
But I'm happy with these results.
