My oil cooler was damged while running up a curb recently and is being repaired by a body shop along with the front bumper.
Of course, being as anal as I am with this car, I am doing my damnest to be sure they use all OEM parts and fluids. If the oil cooler is being replaced, it should be a safe assumption that I will be losing oil, right? Sounds like a real dumb question, but if so I need to bring some 10W-60 for them to top off with. Thoughts are appreciated.....Thanks! |

Figured as much...I assume there is oil stored in the cooler while the car is off? So once disconnected I'll be losing a good amount of oil?

I would upgrade my oil cooler with the one from Turner.
