FOR DIY AND PICTURES GO TO PAGE 3, BEGINNING AT POST #88
As some know I parted my car out last year and this included my CSL headers/cats, SS X-pipe and Eisenmann Race, not to mention all my V-CSL stuff and CF. Since then I've decided to keep the car and go in another direction. I'll likely go F/I later this year or next and would dig the HPF turbo setup. But in the meantime - in the interim I don't want to spend any more on an exhaust especially since I may need something very specific. So on another thread I found these tips and I have to say for those who want to maintain their OEM muffler, this is a HUGE improvement. I just ordered these. Check it out - they're Stainless Steel Double Walled 3" (76mm) Exhaust Tips. They're 6 inches long with a 2 1/4 inch inlet so it's a direct replacement. Sipmly remove the rivet of the OEM exhaust tip and replace with this one. I got them from Eurosport Design, a forum sponsor! SWEET! No affiliation but always willing to call a good product as it is! They're installed and great. See pictures and DIY on pages following!

Looking forward to seeing these on, I would consider going back to the OEM muffler if these look alright.

Def looks a lot better than stock. But, I would rather put that towards a diff exhaust.

I'm having trouble getting the rivets out. How did you do it? Did you have to remove your diffuser to get to the top rivet or did you take the muffler off to get at them easier? How did you get them out? I'm working them but its going slow.
Thanks.

To remove your diffuser, look up underneath the back of your car and you'll see 4-6 push pins. get a small screw driver and separate the end pulling it down - careful to not scratch your paint obviously. There's also a small tool you can get to do this but I've never bothered with that. Once you pull the pins out, the top of the panel has clips that allows you to pull it off. I'd start with that to see if you can get access to the top of the tips. That's what I'll do first, of course perhaps you'll try that and then update this thread. Otherwise, as soon as mine are delivered I'll do the same with pictures for a DIY thread. Perhaps you can do the same and help out the brothers! ![]()

According to Eurosport's dimensions, these tips should be touching each other on the stock muffler. Would this cause vibrations?
