CMT - just outta curiousity.. why did u stop ur pull at 6200 RPMs? it seems to me that the car was still pullin considerablly..

I wasn't in the car, one of the New Engand Dyno guys was running it, and he took it to what he thought was redline. To be honest, maybe the car did have a tiny bit more left in it, but the power probably would have started droping off after 6500 RPM as wih most OBDII 3.2Ls.

My 3 litre puts out 214 bhp @ rear wheels at 6,300 rpm - and stays at that until 7,000 rpm as opposed to the standard S50 B30 which peaks at 6,900 rpm.
I drive an e30 with 6 speed and e36 suspension & brakes. This package is 200 kg lighter than an e36 M3. It has a custom induction kit and ss exhaust but otherwise is standard ( except it lives in an e30 rather than a lardy e36 ). Sounds magnificent at full warp - but spectators have the best acoustic position ( briefly ! ). All 6 coruses of the symphony can only be appreciated " in car ". |

Damn, how come you guys get detuned M3s over there?? We're not talking a couple of horsepower ever, am i to understand from the charts that your version of the Evo 3.2 is some 70bhp down on ours??
