Default Detailing on a Budget- A Lot of Pictures

Alright, just so you guys can see how much the car has changed since I have gotten it the next two pics are basically when i first got it, or close to there. Note the mirror tint, old foggy lights, NO fogs, stock kidneys, blue corner bulbs, etc:

The other day I decided to go on a detailing spree. I tackled the outside. Below are pictures from that:

Before I started to go at it:

The products I used- Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash, Meguiar's Clay Kit, Meguiar's Paint Cleaner, Polish, and Carnauba Wax:

After the wash:

This is prob the one thing that really bugs me. Two of the rims have permanent damage as you can see from the picture. The previous owner prob tried to clean them with some sort of chrome cleaner or something and caused this. Also, because of a stripped lug nut it had to be chiseled out hence the marked up lug hole:

After the wash, clay bar, paint prep, and polish:

After everything. About 4 hours later:

Upgrades/changes since I got her: M50 manifold, new tint, euro ellipsoids HID lows, Orion V2s, black kidneys, new fogs w/HIDs, stealth bulbs in the corners, new tires(PO had 3 different kinds on), CF Roundels, and of course redid all fluids, maintenance, etc.

Looks awesome. And some people talk crap on "common" paint care products! Meguiars FTMFW!

Looks great man!! How do you like the Meguiars cleaner/polish/carnuba waxes? I'm a detailer so I am always trying new stuff and I have a few bottles of those that I'll probably never use again if you're interested...

lol, I have enough detailing product in my garage to last me for a pretty long time. I won't be needing any for awhile.

The kicker is that after I was all done I found an orbital in my garage, so there was no need to do it all by hand

I like Meguiar's products, but if I did have the money I would prob get Swissvax or something, but right now I don't have $150-$200 to spend on that stuff.

I hear ya. I'm just tryin to help someone out by giving them these products for basically free. Better with someone else that uses them then sitting in my garage wasting space.
