Default Anyone have "Snow Performance" Water/Meth kit??

I was doing a tiny bit of research on this kit after seeing it first hand on a 335 the other day.

I called Snow performance and they stated that there are a few customers running this kit on a AA kit.

My concern is the tuning issues that relate to adding meth to the engine (ie running rich).

They stated that I could run a smaller injector nozzle, and get a benefit from the kit, but it would not be considered using it as a "full/optimal" gain without getting a custom tune for it.

Soooo.... any of you guys running this kit, please chime in!

The biggest thing that makes we want this kit, is the meth factor. additional power as well as a cooling of charged air would be great!

For 500 or less you can possibly gain 30hp!!

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Did you at least put it up on a AF or wideband and see where its running?

Did you feel a difference in HP? Or get any numbers?

Which kit did you get? Or did you just replace the pump on the AA kit

I don't have a wideband on it. . .it's really not going to make a huge difference in power unless it's tuned for it i believe. One thing it may do(untuned) is enable you torun more consistently in higher temperature climates

I have the full snow kit, minus the tank of course, i just reused AA's tank, as i liked it's size and placement. The lines, fittings, nozzle & hobb switch(which is now the snow controller) have all been changed for methanol. . .as well as the addition of a failsafe system which will(soon) control a 12 volt 1.5" valve solenoid on the idle control line to bleed boost in the event of the flow of methanol dips and prevent the car from running dangerously lean.

I've got the Snow Performance Meth kit and I love it.
I have AA GEN 2 Stage 3 and am running a custom tune by AA, which my car feels awesome with! I do have Air Fuel gauge, boost gauge as well.

Was it difficult to run this snow kit?

not at all. basically plug and play. I fit my snow performance pump onto the stock AA pump bracket and the bigger tubing was basically the hardest part because one has to replace all of the stock AA tubing from the front of the car to the rear of the car, which is where the pump is.

There was also a write-up a couple months ago that M34U2NV wrote up with snow performance kit and the safe injection and etc... that was basically for a very aggressive tune.
Mine was a mildly done tune.
