Okay, my bad...the original code I posted was erroneous. E 10 is a communication error of the OBD with the car. I had the key in the 1st position, should have been in second.
I had the following codes: 1b 8C C4 63 Translation: 1) Engine noise too high 2) Misfire Cyl #1 3) Control unit self-test. Safety concept master check I have no idea what this means, somebody drop some knowledge. The cylinder misfire is scaring me. Update: I have been looking on the Google, and it seems cyl misfiring may be a function of my Bremi ignition coils. I had mine replaced (I think) on a service bulletin and it says that it is warrantied to 8 yrs/unlimited mileage for that problem. Could this be the cause of the craziness? If so, my stealer should honor it--hopefully.
