What about larger padles? I rarely use the stick anymore.

The thing about running this kind of setup is if anyone ever has to drive your car or if you valet it or it goes to the mechanic or even the dealer you are going to have issues, plain and simple. Especially with valet.

Either way, FOR ALL, do not put a knob with a manual shift pattern on an SMG, seriously

I have the exact one and it worked fine. I mean how often are you going to have valet doing your parking? And it is not that difficult to show him/her really. The pro is it will destract the thief cause it would be harder for them to figure out.

I just wanted the shift knob itself, not the leather boot. I have the SMG lettering on my CF Dome as well. I just like the look of the CF shift knob...

You normally have to explain it to them anyway... I agree that putting a knob with a manual pattern is pathetic!

How does the Knob come off? Turn it counterclockwise? Or does it have tiny screws?

You just grab that sucker and yank straight up (the knob not your ccog haha) and it will pop off. Just try not to pop yourself in the head when you do (50/50 chance you will)
