Ouch!

This is why I was trying to see what kind of deal I can wrestle up. A small savings would go a long ways in this economy.

If no one comes out of the bushes, I will end up going with Racing Brake rotors.

Completely Stock

Building a custom BBK kit with a Brembo Mercedes AMG SL65 8 Piston front (355x35mm) setup, Brembo Viper 4 Piston Rear (355x32mm). Plus stainless steel lines and a Wilwood brake proportioning valve to make sure the bias is correct.

Having a machinist fab up a set of custom brackets to the spindles and then off to powercoating with new decals.

This should be a track-ready setup with the right pads

This is why I have to buy all the parts separate. There are alot of specs I have to meet with this new setup.

Not to mention, new wheels have to be purchased to clear the new BBK kit.

Not sure what pads you intend to use, but make sure you can find the pads you want in the correct sizes for those calipers. One of the reasons I went with Stoptechs is because there are many different options for pads.

Good luck. Im sure the 8 piston calieprs in front are going to look great.

Thanks! It took quite a bit of research to find the right pads that are available for both the MB and the new Viper.

The final decision went to the EBC Red Stuff Ceramic. Heard nothing but great things on the MB boards about them. Should be good for heavy street and light track.

You shouldnt have much trouble looking for rotor rings here. Why not custom fit the existing rotros from MB to go onto the m3?
