Question Replaced ZCP steering wheel with OEM Leather Multi Function. BUTTONS NO WORK!Help?

Hey guys I just took my ZCP steering wheel off my car and put a OEM black leather multifuncion wheel on and connected every thing up however none of the buttons work or light up. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to get buttons to work? This sucks, now I have no way to turn my M track mode on...

If your M3 was originally Competition Package then it should only have an M track button. What are you connecting the other buttons to?

To answer your question, you can't use the multi-function panel in a ZCP car PERIOD. You can't use a ZCP panel in a non-ZCP car PERIOD. The electrical part of the panels and what they do and how they operate is completely different. It has been tried again and again to get the multi-function buttons working in a ZCP and it can't be done.

I'm pretty surprised you think it would work since the funcationality of the 2 steering wheel panels have zero overlap. Are the connectors even the same?

+1, a lot have tried & failed. To my knowledge nobody has ever successfully made it work.
