Aurora LEDs were great but the clips kept breaking on me as well. I ended up fastening the actual LEDs to the fixture itself to avoid this whole problem.

You were right:
Sure enough, I looked at my headlights today and they centering was way off, opened up the headlight and 3 broken clips!!!!! ![]() Ive got a pack of new ones, hopefully this solves the problem, but as stated before they look the same and have the same feel as the original ones. Who else is having this issue? Quote:

I can also attest to clip breaking with the Aurora rings. After I had to dissassemble the housings just once, I said F-it, and I got out a 5-minute epoxy. One small dab where each clip attaches to the ring, and another small dab where each clip clips on to the trim and everything has been good to go since then. I'm happy, but it was my fix that made me happy - can't say that I'm happy about the original construction of the rings/clips.
Also, for those thinking "epoxy, how red-neck" - it works better than any silicon, it is hidden by the black trim that clips on in front of the actual reflector housings, and with small dabs of epoxy, it can all be snipped off with small side cutters if I ever decide to remove them. And besides, even if I have to snip them off some time (don't anticipate it though), the area where the clips attach is hidden anyway - will never be visible no matter what. It definitely is the most certain way to be sure the clips hold, and that the rings do not move - ever.

I ve had problems with clips breaking as well.
I just emailed Tom about the redesigned clips and got a response and order invoice within 1 minute. Now that's service. Thanks Tom.
