Nope. Hogger453 is right, take a deep breath and calm down.

As I said, all 2006 M3's (NA) came with Leather as standard. Prior to that, Leather was optional or as part of the premium package. If the car came with the ZCP package, someone had to decide if they wanted leather instead of the M alcantara. If not, Alcantara was the defalut. Having leather doesn't mean the car also has the "premium package".

I have a 2006 ZCP with full power, heated leather seats, without the premium package. Because I asked for Nappa leather instead of the Alcantra, I also have the standard leather e-brake.

Wait until tomorrow and call the dealer, ask them to fax you the sheet.

You're getting all riled up over a few silly options? This car is virtually loaded. I can sort of empathize with you in that I like having all the options in my cars, but you can add Bluetooth on later, and BMW Assist is pretty useless unless you're in an accident, when it's probably still useless unless you're incapacitated. It also adds the ugly shark fin. Who needs it?

With earlier cars, premium package implied more options like rain-sensing wipers and auto-dimming rear view mirror, but perhaps those options were made standard in subsequent years.

And yes, you can have ZCP and leather without premium.

My M3 was custom ordered without the premium package + ZCP + individual features (nav, moonroof, etc)...It has manual leather seats. Looks like you found yourself a custom car (which in my opinion is pretty cool, and by custom I mean not just a standard combo on the lot). Asking the dealer to fax you the sheet is a good idea, go with that

Good luck

IB ZCP here with Cinnamon leather, no premium.

Also has HK Stereo, Cold Weather, Power seats.

After I understood that I'd only be missing bluetooth and BMW assist, I got over not having Premium pretty quick

I figure I'll be replacing the head unit in the spring with a double-din touchscreen (with bluetooth), so I won't be missing bluetooth for long.

What's the big deal with manual seats? Less crap to break.

Some people are more sensitive than others to seating position. The power have more adjustments.

AFIAK all cars with the premium package and the comp package, have the premium package override the alacantra interior, unless specifically ordered otherwise.

http://www.bmwofoysterbay.com/Pre-Ow...oryId=25106815 is the dealer link to the car.. and wow they suck.. no info on it, socal dealers have all the info up asap.

That car is kinda rare as the rear sunshade is not a common option in the US, some members have never even seen one. I would bet that this car has premium just because it has the rear window shade. Also almost all US spec M3's have the premium package.

As for power seats, really not a big deal esp if you are over 6'2. Non power seats can sit lower and give the extra headroom needed if you are wearing a helmet. Otherwise if you are the only driver how often do you change your seat position?

Also all SMG's have PDC

In 2004... which is the same as 2006 except the comp zhp package was available.

premium was
Full nappa leather (standard was nappa with cloth inserts but full leather is an option)
power adjustable front seats and mirrors with memory (width adjust is an option)
Power glass moonroof with one touch operation (considering all USA m3's had sunroofs unless specifically ordered with the 0 cost sunroof delete thanks BMW... )

cold weather has
heated seats
skibag passthrough
and headlight washers.
Basically if the car has headlight washers it is a cold weather as that isnot an option outside the package. Also all M3's have heated mirrors.

HK sound was an option by itself not in the premium package.

Comp package (zhp) in 2006
CSL rims
cross drilled rotors
Alacantra interior (overrided by premium)
M stability mode (cruise control delete)
slightly faster steering rack.
Suspension on all 2006 cars had the ZHP suspension.

My car
SMG - includes PDC
HK sound
Premium package
Winter Package
OEM 19's
Xenon lighting
Metallic paint

(missing nav, width adjust and rear window shade for a fully loaded 04, and wish I had a sunroof delete)
