neither does mine, it's butter smooth at WOT. That must eliminate a lot of things...im thinking TPS or throttle actuator

Mine has it in the 1500 to 2800 RPM range, generally when it's cold. But since yesterday it made them even at normal temps.

What it's clear it doesn't happen at full throttle. Just the beginning of the range.

Let's see if someone comes up with an update or solution.

I'm suffering from this as well.. Only low rpms but in any gear. Even 6th cruising at 70mpg, 2800rpms and then downshift (or not) and apply a little throttle and it sputters. Honestly, it feels like the bucking bronco symptom but at any speed and any gear but at low rpms with light throttle. Car runs strong otherwise. Revs freely and runs better than the day I took delivery so like a previous member said that eliminates a lot of things... Just can't pinpoint if it's engine or SMG related. Is everyone having this issue SMG? Any manuals experiencing this??

Just an update, maybe it has to do with fuel quality? I've used different brands with different results... So perhaps is that or simply a terrible TPS malfunction going on and off.

My issue ended up being a vacum hose under the intake manifold being cracked.

This was one of the issues when I bought the car. I replaced the coils, spark plugs and fuel filter and cleaned the MAF but the "hiccup" did not 100% went away. In short, what solved the problem was the fuel pump. I end up using Walbro 255 in tank universal fuel pump.

Cliff - That was exactly my problem as well. I replaced the O2 sensors first thinking that was the problem. I had already replaced the gas pedal with one TPS sensor inside so that eliminated that variable. In the end, it was the darn FUEL PUMP that was giving me the trouble.

The best part was, the car picked up a lot more power after I replaced the pump. I had no idea how weak the car felt until I put in the new unit!

Bonus!

I almost replaced my gas pedal and tps too.

The car picked up a lot after the fuel pump and picked up even more after the light flywheel and headers install.

I wish the fuel pump was an easy thing to diagnose.
