Default Window Tint?

Who thinks that the laws about window tint are taken wayyyy to seriously (esp. in SoCal) I have gotten multiple warnings about having little almost no window tint on my driver and passenger door (bought the car with it on).

If you know of anyone in the San Diego area that is good with window tint let me know I need to have my rear window redone it was peeling so I cliffed most of it just need it all gone then redone.

Some states are worse than others. Cali cracks down on modifying cars in any way.

Wyoming, the laws are stupid for tint, but they don't really enforce it. I have a buddy that has 5% tint all the way around, even on the windshield. You can't even see at night and he's never been pulled over. I'd say just about everyone here has illegal tint.

You don't get pulled over for tint here Eddie, you get pulled over for driving like sh*t and after the speeding ticket, they usually get you for anything that needs to be fixed. Tint laws are bs, that's why you have a cool doctor like me and get a note for it.

Your tint isn't even that dark. I can still see through the car.

The last cop to harass me about tint said that he was worried about not being able to see if i could see him he was trying to make me feel like Shet for him. I basically just told him that i will get to it when i have time and money its something that i see even more cars in this area with 10 times more tinted windows than me and i even said to the officer that why the hell is he going to harass me when there are people all around that are worse. he just kept going with his gay ass little speech about how unsafe it is at night. and he just let me go on a warning not even a fix-it ticket. Maybe its just me but down here but 9 out of 10 cops are uber GAYYYY.

Do you know how dark the tint on your car is?

I have 20% on my car and the cars look at me but haven't done anything about it yet...

He didn't bring up that question. That was "porschetech."

And yes, cops have double standards and act like they're above the law. We all know that.
