Hi,
I'm looking to purchase a Certified Pre-Owned M3 with the following: 2006 model Competition Package Cold Weather Package 6 Speed Auto (with SMG) HK Sound Titanium Metallic Paint Black leather interior I found one dealer who has one with 33K miles and is looking for $44K. How low do you think I can go? I'm in the SF Bay Area...competition is fierce. Help is appreciated. |

I would not pay more than $34-35k. If you think I'm crazy than check out what mint '06 m3's with LESS miles have been sold on ebay by BMW dealers. Time and economy is on your side!!! There was a
06 m3 with 6000 miles that sold for $34.5k on ebay ny a BMW dealer. |

Offer a price that YOU are comfortable with, a price that reflects what the car is worth to YOU. If you go in with the mindset that it should be yours for $34k because that's what someone told you on the internet, there is probably a great chance that someone else in the bay area will offer more and walk away with that car. A buyer can always delay and delay and look for the best possible deal around the country, you just need to ask yourself if it's worth it to you.

This is all nice advice - but - lots of dealers will sit on a car rather than drastically break price. Many will give a 10% discount (making your $44K car a $40k deal) - I don't know of many who will accept 20-30% less.
