Default Under drive pulleys

I have to replace a couple of pulleys, and am trying to decide if I should just switch out to underdrive pulleys. I have the HK stereo, and I have no plans on getting any more audio equipment. One concern is that I live in the South and I am wondering if the compressor will be able to keep up in the summer.

I appreciate all help.

Ok i will be the first to tell you that everyone on the forum thinks they are a waiste of money and that they dont add any power.

I had them on my M3s and i could see a difference. I felt no tq loss with the M50 manifold swap as well and i think that was largely due to the Underdrive pulleys.

Oh if you get them only underdrive the power steering and the water pump.

I had the UUC pulleys as well.

UUC pulleys FTW!!

I have them, and they were proven on a dyno in the most recent European Car Magazine to gain a couple HP

I have them but I can't tell you if they make a difference. Previous owner installed them.

I have the Turner's on the three accessories; could not "feel" a difference.

Am I missing something....what is the correlation between the HK stereo and underdrive pulleys?

They are a proven way to get some extra HP, and for an M3 they are actually cost-effective (comparatively, I mean). I would do it, replacement is the best time for upgrading
