Also, based on you opinion, a stock M3 with a standard HK or upgraded stereo system is not a track car either, though you will find pleanty of stock M3s used on the track

Appreciate the fact that I'm gonna be tracking my car with a Dinan S3-R when I move out to FL in a couple months...I hate haters!

i have a great looksing car man defintly a track car

In my opinion... a "show car" makes a horrible "track car"... and a "track car" makes a horrible "show car".

My "track car" is not a "race car", it is a car I drive on the track, generally MORE than on the street. It has a true track suspension, track brakes, and many other parts and pieces that make it a pretty poor street car, but a pretty darned good track car. And as pointed out, wear and tear from the track prevents it from being a "show car". Looking at the pics, it appears that the "show/track car" is really more a of a "show car", which is fine if that is what the owner wants. If mrmt is more into show than go, its his choice.

daily driving my car and doing a few autox and DEs really puts a beating on ur car. Now I know its far from being a nice show car and I accepted it. I think its more expensive to keep my car super clean then to buy some trakc mods

and to the dude that posted pics

thats a show car first that is dressed up as a track car. i understand what you did as I don't consider my m3 a true track car. i still like to drive it on the road sometime. i didnt remove the rear panels or the rear speakers. i just removed the rear seats, since noone can get there, and the rear headsets. i wanted to not tear apart the car.

pretty much i think the OP was saying he wanted to see cars that can be used for daily driving, but are more focused towards being driven on the track (aka weight savings are ideal)
