Default Falken 452 questions - Who is running them?

Yes, i did search but didnt find enough answers.

Say you found two 275/30/19 Falken 452s(new) shipped to your door for $395, would you buy them?

For of those of you running these tires, how is their noise, tread life and what kinda grip do they have in both dry and WET conditions since i live in the great PNW?

Thanks.

I'm running them on my M. I don't hear much from them at all, pretty quiet compared to the Conti's I had on prior. I've only had ~2 months on them at the end of last summer but they still look like new. They grip very well in both dry and wet conditions. I'm assuming you are in the Seattle region? I'm north of the border in British Columbia so I'm sure my weather conditions are close to yours.

At this point, I like them so much I plan on buying them again when this set is finished. I've even been complimented on how cool they look. Great price too! Buy 'em.

I've had 2 sets...they are good tires. Not Ra01 good, but for 1/2 the price they are 85% of great tires.

I would and may well buy a 3rd set.

Wet traction was not notably bad or good...

they're comparable to T1R's; that's a good price you got so go for it.

+1

The 452s are a great tire for the money..and are in the same realm as the t1r, contisport, NT555.

I have to disagree with the comparable to T1rs...well, maybe price wise (although the 452s are cheaper) but not performance.

I switched from 3 previous sets of T1rs to the FK452s and I will never buy a set of T1rs again. The FK452 IMO, is so much more of a tire. The noise is less, the ride comfort and grip levels are far superior, and from what I can tell so far the 452s are going to last longer than the Toyos.

Get the 452s. You won't regret it.
