Default Window trim pealing off. Best glue/repair method?

Some time last summer I left my car out on a really hot day and came back to find that my driver side window trim started pealing off. Nothing serious so I neglected it for a while. It's been like half a year now and it continues to peal and sag more. I know I should have fixed it long ago but didn't get around to it and was lazy. Now it's looking real ugly. What is the best glue or method to get it back on securely? The dealer wants something like $500 to fix it so screw them. Here's a pic...

Suggestions welcome plz!

I used 3M black weatherstrip cement to glue mine back on. Put it on the sides you want to stick together, let it get tacky- almost dry- and stick them together.

How did that hold so far?

I've talked to someone knowledgeable who recommended windshield type silicone.

BTW OP my car looks exactly like yours right now, my seal is hanging at exactly the same spot

1 buck super glue in dollar store, then apply it, sit in your car, and hold it for about 5-10 mins. Worked fine for me since the summer

3M plastic emblem and trim adhesive. Rather than sitting in the car and holding it in place, I taped it up with gaffer tape (similar to painters tape) and just removed it the next day. Have done it on both sides with no issues or recurrence of the problem.

I used 3M weatherstripping adhesive and blue painters tape to hold it up till it set.
