I'll put money on a 4 door handle not fitting. I went through hell with mine a few years back.

To replace the exterior you have to access it from the interior... not sure where the confusion is.

You want pics?

I was confused on if the door pull meaning the inside handle popper, or the outside.

Im not lying, just trying to help ryan avoid the problem I ran into when I did this same procedure 2 years ago. I don't care about arguing what is one your car.

I know, but I am saying it is possible and maybe trying to help him out so he can source one from a junkyard if there is a sedan and not have to buy a brand new one at the stealership for $198.65

Also, just checked and RealOEM has them listed as the exact same P/N

If it were cheap enough I would MAYBE give a sedan handle a shot. I have plenty of time to work on sh1t, its money that I dont have a bounty of. I wouldnt want to spend a decent amount on something that has the potential to fail (In Dereks case).

i would not use a sedan handle. whether it's the same or not is a non issue. you want to go with the identical part so that you can confirm everything is perfect.

Woot! I fixed the lock too! I basically just used a crap ton of super glue to fill the top of the plastic piece in (Where it broke). I got it pretty thick and put glue all around the bottom and sides of the piece as well, essentially creating almost a "belt" around it to hold the rod in place, and yet still allowing it to pivot. I sat there for about 15 minutes locking and unlocking my door repeatedly and it showed no signs of stress or deterioration. I did some research and found that the average melting point of super glue is anywhere from about 320 degrees to about 360 degrees, so it should hold once it starts getting warm in there. Well see how much of that is true once summer rolls around.

Damn, I needa go ahead and take apart my door so I can check mine out. U slam it hard enough, it opens just fine, u ease it enough for window to seal, sometimes it'll open and sometimes u have to put pressure into it.

My money goes towards school and living so im pinching as well, im gonna check this out tonight.

Exactly. Basically all I did when adjusting it was pull the whole mechanism down firmly as I screwed it back in to give the bar on the handle a few less millimeters to work with so it catches a lot faster/easier.

On a side note, I just noticed yesterday that my passenger door is in the beginning stages of doing the same sh1t. Looks like I get to do this all over again soon. Ima wait until the last possible second though, haha.
