Default Is there a cheaper yet similar alternative to ezcarlift?

I really like this concept and it can be also taken to the track, but I think it is excessively expensive.

Any input/insight appreciated:

After checking around, it is decently priced. Given that a typical scissor lift can
be had for around $1300, but is not portable, and also weighs 1200 pounds, this
is a good buy

well, you do have a point in comparison to others- but for almost 2k...makes no economic sense...makes spending the time needed to jack/put the stands as the way to go...problem is in our cars we need also ramps, etc etc, while this is a plug and play...

That is true. I ran into this problem when I put my coilovers on. I had the whole
car on jack stands. Then, when I lowered everything down, I couldn't get the jack
out, and had to go buy another jack to jack it up...

As I mentioned in another thread, my dad owns a company that sells all types of lifts.
This EZcarlift is a cool thing...but even at 145 pounds, isn't really "portable", unless
you have an extra pair of hands to get it loaded unloaded

Eventually...when I get a normal house, I'll put in a lift...but until then...jacks/stands it is...

The price seems reasonable to me - if you need that sort of thing. I'm guessing that it isn't targeted at occasional users.

140 seconds to lift? Ugh.

You're WAY better off buying an AC Hydraulics DK13HLQ and a set of good jack stands. Quicker, easier, more portable, and less restrictive.
