Default How can I determine how rare my M3 is?

I've tried to find a table but no luck.

I have an 05 M3, Carbon Black with cinammon interior with comp package. Love to know.

Thanks!

From the BMW M Registry:

26,202 E46 M3 Coupes were produced from 02/01 through 05/06. These are LH drive North American cars. ZCP cars were built from 12/04 to 05/06. The breakdown of colors (interior and exterior) and transmission types alludes me though. Carbon Black paint and Cinnamon Nappa Leather was available from 9/00 through 5/06.

BMW does not track or report production by color.

The most common E46 M3 colors are blacks and silvers. As noted above - Cinnamon had a 5+ year production run.

There is nothing rare about an E46 M3. I see tons of them around where I live. They made over 85,000 of them. Making it rare based on options is kind of pointless. Where does it end? You can make a Honda Civic rare if you want to play that game.

The CSL is about the only variant I would consider "not common" for an M3. They still made 1,358 of them. I know a couple people locally with S54 Z3MC's and they only made just over 1,100 of those. They made 400 M1's and a family friend has one that lives near me and I have seen a couple others for sale locally as well. That is just BMW's for comparison. I always get a kick out of people thinking an M3 is some kind of rare exotic car with 85,000 of them being built.

BTW CSL parts does not make your car a CSL. Nice try
