This fits both e9x M3 models, including convertible. LCI version for the e90 non-Ms will be coming later this Summer.

▀▄ eas - AngeliBright Installation Instructions - e92 M3

First you need to remove the lid on the headlight using a flat head screwdriver, then unplug the stock H8 bulb. After you have done this, follow these instructions:

This is the hardware for each headlight:

No different on MY09 M3, you're perfectly fine.

Default AiB 3.0 installed!

Thanks to Tom for helping me yesterday on the phone, and for the great DIY installation pics. All in all it took me a little over an hour as the first time I attempted to install the LEDs I got a fault in both daytime running lights displayed on the nav screen once I started the car up.

I went back and pulled everything out (this is really difficult as the heat sink is a pain to get off once the wires are routed through the sink). Aside from a few scraped knuckles (I have big hands), it wasn't too difficult, just a little frustrating at times trying to get the lamp screwed in properly.

As Tom informed me on the phone yesterday the driver side is a little easier than the passenger side. As best I can tell the reason for this is because the shape of the passenger side compartment encourages you to use your left hand (I'm a righty) and also you have to turn the lamp clockwise to secure it. While you have to turn the lamp the same way on the driver side it's just a little easier when using your right hand from that angle.

They look great. I have a couple quick iPhone pics I'm posting below that really don't do them justice. I'm really happy with the look of my halos now and I've activated my Daytime Running Lights in iDrive / Vehicle Settings menu again .

I have a couple quick questions for Tom:
1) What kind of wrench should I use to tighten the lamp in place? Since the piece is round it makes fitting a wrench around it difficult. I ended up using my hands to tighten the lamp in place but I couldn't really get the passenger side to tighten to my satisfaction. I believe it's good enough for now (took a quick spin to test and make sure it wouldn't vibrate loose), but I would like to tighten it properly.
2) Also is there a proper orientation for the lamp to sit in the housing once tightened? I tried to keep the "AiB" etching on the front of the lamp oriented horizontally and right side up. I only managed to get it to look exactly right on the driver side but couldn't get the passenger side to line up the same way, it's rotated 30 degrees clockwise and as I previously stated is not tightened as firmly as I would like. No matter how many times I tried to re-sit the lamp before tightening I couldn't get it to match the desired orientation.

This is my first mod to any of my vehicles as I lease all my cars and I'm extremely happy with the results, I couldn't stand the look of the OEM angel eyes.

Once again thank you Tom for your help and EAS for the great service overall.

Any hex assortment should have the correct wrench, these are about $8 from your local Home Depot.

Since the LEDs fire backward, alignment won't matter much - you can verify on your end by turning the lamp 360 degrees and checking on your own.

Default Bad circuit

After driving around for some time with my awesome new AiBs I received a fault in the right running light. I opened it up and checked to see if everything was still connected and installed properly and started up the car to receive the same fault. I then swapped the black box (circuit I believe) with the one on the left side and the fault switched to the other side. After a conversation with support at EAS I emailed the returns department to receive a replacement part. I now have to uninstall the entire system and go back to the OEM lamps. It really sucks cause I was going to Zaino the car tomorrow for a magazine shoot on Sunday.
