i personally hate it and never touch it. Way too jerky maybe if you drive it all time and get used to it its fine.
Many people here drive S5 daily so I think you'll have no problems.
I think with SMGs you should be more afraid of the Diff and relay. The diffs are a ticking time bomb.
Can you please elaborate on the Diff and relay? I have an SMG, and am starting to worry since I no longer have Extended Warranty.

Jeez, this forum has so many negative nancy's on it. Simple question, is it bad, the answer is not really, /thread.

Why post up all this cr@p about sport mode adding power and whatnot, how is that relevant at all??

I keep seeing this same trend in so many posts, is it that hard to stay on topic..? If you think the post is so lame don't frickin respond, that includes the ...

I personally think the car is lethargic out of sport mode but I drive it w/o it on because it burns gas and I don't see the point when I am not really out for a drive but trying to commute.

lol thanks.. i guess its more of a personal preference question.. i never mentioned anything about additional power.. i just like the sensitivity of the pedal, and was wondering if it was ok?

I hear you.. but that only brings up another question.

Why don't the mods separate all the threads into their respective sections, or just start it now.

is300.net has all the threads broken down into their relevant categories so that there just isnt so much drivel. The IS has been around since 01 also, but the site.. is.. um.. better broken down into categories to reduce the number of nonsense threads b/c people don't like searching through so much.

Inside and Out
Go Fast Stuff
Go Faster
Wheels & Tires
Stop, Drop, and Roll
Mobiletronics

This way people can view what they want to, post in relevant forums, and not have to search through hundreds, literally hundreds, of threads to find 5 that they are looking for.
